Want to get into sound and video editing..

Where should I start?

I'm talking about, like producing beats and mixing instrumentals with vocals /acapella, editing videos, etc.

Adobe Audition? Adobe Premiere Pro? Adobe After Effects? What other programs are there?

Any good sites with useful information?

You might also want to try premier elements 1st - it is very powerful in it's own right and right about 70 bucks. If you like it you can always sell it and get the full blown version.

I don't like audition myself, I find that audacity (open source and free) does everything you will probably want.

I use and love Premeire Pro but I don't use audio cuz I can't hear
