Want to get back into SETI, but it so confusing

So I decided I would get back into SETI since I've got 3-4 computers not doing anything 75% of the time.

Looked through the thread that's posted up top on this forum but it' so confusing to me 🙁 I also did a search but couldn't find anything for a n00b like me.

Last time I was part of SETI I had a small program that would download 10 WU's (or so?) at a time and then upload them when they are done. Is it still that easy? Can anyone point me to a program like that? I want the simplicity of the "official" SETI@Home client with the speed of the non-graphical (?) programs.

Hope that makes sense, I'm a little lost in all this 😱🙁

Excellent, think I got it up and running 😀

One problem I'm having though, I keep getting a dos window popping up. It's titled "SETI 4 - Transmit" and it will stay open until I close it.

I've got "Display Transmit" unchecked in SETI Driver and I Saved the Config. 😕
 
I've noticed that oddity myself. It seems to happen when SetiDriver is first setup. I have also observed it stops after the first batch of downloaded WUs gets completed. Glad you're up and running. 😉 🙂

Seems like you're right. Just uploading my first completed WU's in a while and am downloading a couple too...don't seem to be having the problem any more.
