want to flash the BIOS of my IP35-E

Aharami

Lifer
My only complaint with this board is the start/restart problem. After over a yr of living with it, I've finally had it. I know it's a BIOS problem that is solved by upgrading to the latest BIOS, but I've never flashed a BIOS before and naturally, I'm a little hesitant. Also I dont have a floppy drive and ABIT's instructions call for the use of a floppy drive.

So looking for a little help here. I'd think I'd flash to the latest version - BIOS ID 18, but do I need to know of some other stuff? (I searched and read in another thread that v18 doesnt work well with the E0 stepping) I have a Q6600 OCed to 3.2 GHz.

not too concerned about not having a floopy as Im sure a bootable CD will do just fine. But what I'm concerned about is whether v18 BIOS the one I should be flashing to.

Thanks
