Want to drive a BMW for a good cause (and for free)?

Go here and find out when "The Ultimate Drive" is coming to a BMW dealer near you. You have to be 21 to drive most cars, but 25 to drive 7-series and M-series cars. For every mile you drive, BMW will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I personally signed up to drive a BMW Z3 Coupe Manual. Vroom, Vroom!

Step 1 of 4
Select an eligible event near you.
(Note: Gray events have already occured. Pink events are
scheduled for the date(s) indicated. Underlined events are
eligible for registration.)

Note: You may register for no more than three vehicles per event.
If you would like to test drive additional vehicles you may do so on site.

Does this mean I have to wait until September 2001? Argh! Which car should I drive? I'm thinking an M3 or M5.

You might not be able to drive an M5...see step 2.

I don't think I could get to step 2 because the two dealers and dates were in pink.

What's the major difference between the 325 and 330?

Also I might try an X5, drool.

<< You can't test drive a BMW regularly at the dealer? 😕 >>

I think you have to have at least an intention to purchase a new car. With this deal, anyone can come and drive, no questions asked.

Since I can't advance to step 2, how exactly does this work? Where would I be driving? What's the maximum number of miles I can drive?

Just click on the dealer to advance to step 2...it's just a link.

Difference between 325 and 330? Mainly just the engine: 184hp in 325 and 225hp in 330 (I think), plus the 330 has more options and a higher base-price.

Ok I'll go for the 330 and X5, drool.

The two dealers that are listed CANNOT be clicked on, I moved my mouse over ALL the text from the beginning to end and no where on there can you click it.

Try it yourself, Oregon, zip code 97206 🙁

Some events are too far in advance to register I guess. Keep checking back with them. It's also possible that events in those locations have reached their max capacity of drivers.

I registered for 6/20 in Norwood, MA. I'm looking foward to it. A buddy wants to go, but it didn't mention anything about bringing a passenger, so I wonder if he has to register himself.....
