The speaker system from my computer has 3 connections that plug into the back of my PC, but my laptop only has one connection for speakers.

Is there any device that will allow me to connect it to my laptop?

What kind of set is it? Does it have any surround mode options on it or it just straight analog and nothing else?

Something you can buy to get the signal split for your 5.1 inputs is the Logitech Game Console Adapter.

Put an adapter between it and the laptop and you should get output from all the speakers.

It's just going to be putting out the stereo signal to all speakers though so it's not going to be true surround of course.

Can't you just go to radio shack and get two Y splitters? Split one of the splitters and you'll get an input and three outputs.

Center/sub is going to be messed up then.

I haven't actually opened up a Logitech adapter, but I think it gives a mix of L/R to the center/sub.

Consider a Creative Audigy 2 NX (USB External - one connector (USB) to the laptop - a full range of ports on the 2NX for your speakers.
