I'm dying to get the new 20" Cinema w/DVI, but I can't seem to find a video card that supports it's native resolution of 1680*1050. I have an ATI X800P, and I don't see that this is a supported resolution.

Thoughts? Comments?

any card with dvi out should run it but you might need to install powerstrip to make a custom res for it

Does anyone have experience running games (in particular CS:Source and City of Heroes :)) in 1680x1050? With a Geforce 6800 GT?

The new nvidia driver comes with custom resolution support, but that doesnt seem to work well with City of Heroes (says monitor does not support this resolution and defaults back to 800x600)

Use PowerStrip.

It will force a resolution on an application. You can create custom profiles for each application. I only had it for one day before I sold my computer (waiting on parts for new one) but it worked with CoD.

CoD for example stretched on the screen but it didn't look too bad. It was also very playable but gave me a headache cause of slight motion blur. My Gainward GeForce4 Ti4800 just wasn't powerful enough to smoothly push CoD at 1680X1050.
