I like building new computer systems and love to custimize a new system to my liking. I want to build a Core 2 Duo System, and use Vista on it. Should I wait for future tech until more dx10 vid cards are out and affordable or what? I don't want to upgrade and not be able to play future games for vista.

What would you suggest? I am interested in hearing what others would do.

OMG!!! You just solved my dilemma! :Q

I've been toying with the idea of building a modest C2D system w/Vista, and I didn't even consider using onboard video, LOL.

Great damn idea - I'm closer to pulling the trigger now. If only 4Gb of RAM would come down in price.

use a spare pci vidcard or buy a cheap ($40) vidcard for now. i wouldn't go with the G965 Express because it can't overclock as well as the P965 Express, due to the onboard graphics.

This is the better way there are several threads about the g chipset being a poor OC'er just search the Motherboads forum.
