Here is how my logic train is running on this issue: Your wife likes the way a Ford Focus looks. You think that you will be able to appease her by making her Civic look "Sporty." Now neither the Civic nor the Focus are even remotely "sporty" or "sporty" looking cars, so perhaps you should inquire as to what it is about the Focus that she likes before turning her car into a riceboy's wetdream that she is embarassed to drive. Maybe she likes its cup holders or carpeting better for all we know.

Exactly. They should walk everywhere, perferably barefoot. Pregnant if possible. ;)

My suzuki does not have cup holders, while my truck has ones that will hold a 64oz dbl big gulp. My suzuki annoys me sometimes.

I have no cupholders either :(. I have a rectangular area that is meant for holding cups, but I can't shift properly with a cup in the way.

Man, my car is the exact same way! After scouring E-bay for some sort of after market cup holder to fit in the center console storage area of my Supra to no avail, I'm pondering buliding one. I spilled Dr. Pepper on my TEMS switch from keeping pop in the rectangular thing and knocking it over when I shifted. Now it's all sticky and goobered so that's another part from E-bay. The list is mounting, but luckily they're all el-cheapo bits and pieces, no expensive parts. Except for the rear exhaust piping behind the cats has a little hole in it...I thought about welding it but I don't have any equipment. I also thought about just buying a piece of 3" pipe, but it bends down around the differential box and it's not straight. And I can't find any Supras at the wrecking yard, and all the Ebay ones are for the n/a model that has a different size of pipe. Weeeeeaaaaaak.

He is a buddy of mine. Besides, it fun :) He also invited it with his thread title. ;)

We really need to find out why his wife wants it to look like a Focus. What about the Focus apeals to her? No way you are getting another car after just buying one. That would be 3k down the crapper.

Have you guys seen that Peugot commercial where the Pakistani dude rams his car into some walls, sits and elephant on it, and takes a hammer to it to turn it into a 206? That might work to bring some Focus to your Honda.

And how much does a bodykit and paint cost?

Trade it in for a Focus, preferably an SVT Focus :)

whatever you do don't lower your car. suvs have a mismatch in height already, they try to lessen the blow by curving the frame rails down at the ends so they'll hit your cars rails. if you lower your car, your just going to get skewered.

get her rims, get her nice big ass brakes. get her a turbo kit and stuff, upgrade the stereo. perhaps change some lights. if u do add a wing make sure it has a brake light(i'm trying to include only stuff not entirely for looks). don't tint, its more dangerous then good.

if you feel nutz give her a safety cage/roll cage.

Best advice yet.

IIRC, depending on the body kit, usually ~1100+ unpainted. its up to you to get it painted if you want it to even remotely match your paint.
