It sounds to me like you want an X server for windows. Are you trying to run graphical unix apps from your windows machine?
If so, that's what you need.
A good one is X-Win32. You can get a demo from
http://www.starnet.com. I find it to be the most all around compatible.
Another one ix Mi/X. This also has a demo available here -
http://www.microimages.com/mix/ It used to be free, so you may be able to find an old free version of it around somewhere. I think the free version was not quite up to the most current X11 standard, but it worked ok for everything i tried.
There is one called ReflectionX. It offers a lot of crap you probably don't need, and is probably quite expensive because of it. I have used it and found it to be not as good of an X server as X-Win32.
I think there is another called eXceed, but I don't know much about it.
