want econo gaming card please help

looking for something cheap that will game good, like gta3 max payne ut2003 etc what is the best heaper chipset? and how does memory help, speed and amount?

My brother-in-law is playing GTAIII on a Kyro II card which is about as cheap as you can get and still run GTAIII
If you can spring for it, go for a GeForce4 4200 or 4400 (Gainward or PNY?) but stay away from ANYTHING in an MX version of a chipset

GeForce3 $90+
GeForce4 4200 $110+
GeForce4 4400 $185+

A 128MB retail ATI RADEON 8500 is a great choice if you can find one. A GeForce4-Ti4400 is a great choice as it's much faster and be overclocked to near-Ti4600 speeds.
