Want an America's Army military icon

Xylitol

Diamond Member
Are you allowed to get a family member or friend who served to put in their e-mail address into my account so that I can get the icon?

Thanks

(Just got back to playing after more than 4 years)

I don't know anything about AA, but what it sounds like is you're trying to impersonate an American serviceman. While that may not be illegal, it's definitely uncool. Leave the special recognition to those who've earned it.

I know a lot about AA, and I agree that you should leave the insignia to the people who are actually in the military. I'm not exactly sure why you would want to pretend about such a thing anyway.

Was Xylitol formerly in the military? If he was then I could understand him wanting the icon.

if he was I'm sure he'd get an icon. This is just sad, really.

From what I just looked over, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Does it really matter if you get the icon?

Or do you want all the special "OMFG, U are in ARMY?"

"I am in ARMY."

"Friends us!"

Then you can talk about old war stories....

Honestly, it's either the above or questions from little kids asking you about your army "experience" (from my year of playing AA).

no i wasn't

that's why I asked if I could use a family member's
I know that it's designated for whoever served but it just looks so cool...

Yeah, the problem is verification. I know a decent amount of Vets who play it and wanted a "veteran" icon. Problem is, how do you verify whether someone was actually in, say Vietnam short of spending hours digging through paperwork.

Which has nothing to do with how they verify.

Although now that I thought about it, my wife could actually become "verified" so I could have the icon 😀
