Needs to have at least 2.9-3.0 vdimm, I have some nice Mushkin PC3500 ram but can't push it high enough on my shuttle's max 2.7vdimm, also cpu voltage at least 1.95v

you could always voltmod that shuttle :)

Yes that is the fastest 32 bit socket a board.

But I went through 4 of them trying to get a good one They all killed the mbr on my hdd's.

But while they ran they went as high as 2.5 ghz on air.

Yeah, the dfi infinity looks like the best board but I'm trying to stay around $75.00 max. Can you tell me more about the voltmod for my shuttle?

What about the NF7-S does it have the higher VDimm volts that I'm looking for?

Goes up to 2.9, but with a 3 minute mod you can have 3.3

Would that be the same mod that Shimmishim was refering to on my Shuttle?

3 minute mod?

are you talking about installing a booster? :)

cuz a voltmod with a VR takes longer than 3 minutes because the abit nf7-s vmem mod requires you to remove a resistor on the board then solder to that tiny pad.

i've done it... but it was a pain...

as for the shuttle vmod...

i'll see what i can find
