I have been REALLY out of the computer market so this probably sounds very basic, but I have seen many different types of SATA categories, for exmaple SATA-I Sata-II 1.5gbs 2.5GB or 3.0 GB
a bit confused, thanks
(cheapest solution would be preferred)
my motherboard has the following slots
1xAGP
2x PCI-X 64 Bit (66/33 MHz)
3x PCI 32 BIT
-------------UPDATE----------
Update:
Sorry I didnt provide enough info, I have a guy who is selling me 2 drives a Raptor 74GB Sata and the Barracuda 7200.10 SATA for about a 100 bucks.
Obviously its a steal of a price but my motherboard oesnt have onboard SATA, and at newegg, they have all kinds of different SATA controllers, I just wasnt sure what to go with.
