Seems like a huge stock drop from a "normal retailer", likely bestBuy. And all of these wanna-be scalpers, trying to compete, has made this a buyer's market for the moment.

I'd say the tilt would be a teeny bit more towards "It's a seller's market for the moment" when people are willing to shell out $500+ for a GTX 1660 Super in 2021.

Well, by comparison, Newegg themselves were charging nearly $500 for a GTX 16660 Super advertised in their sale flyer, so having the "ebay premium" be virtually null, indicates to me that it's at least "more of" a buyer's market. At least, until this flood of GTX 1660 Super XLR8 cards dries up, then back to $700-800 for these cards on ebay.

I do al;so think that the "event horizon" of EIP-1559 dropping in July (supposedly), is have a downward effect on the prices of cards that can mine ETH, as that affects the ROI calculus.

Is that $700 to $800 new for that card usually? Damn I have that exact card.

I don't know how many carats you'd need for a new Ampere or RDNA2 GPU, but I'm sure it's negotiable.

If they complain just tell them it's a real life version of Minecraft. If that doesn't work just tell them you're perfectly fine with selling blood diamonds.
