want a online bank account now........

so I want to start saving for my future, and I heard that online savings accounts are the best since they usually have higher interests.

what do you guys reccommend that is high interest, and is a sure safe site(FDIC Insured and all that jazz).

Btw, is savings account the best way? what about certificate of deposits?? what do you guys reccommend?

I currently cannot put 1000 dollars in a bank, but if possible, I want to start lower, and maybe in a few months, add to it.

I believe you would have to use an actual checking account to do so. Transfer from paypal to checking account to ING.

Do you have your paypal account attached to a checking account?

If so, withdraw the paypal funds to the checking account. Usually takes 2-3 days to clear. Then transfer from checking account to ING. Do you have an ING account already?

Just go sign up for ING, it has directions to linking your checking account to ING.
You are familiar with routing number and account number aren't you?
