Want a MINI PCI Bluetooth/WIRELESS G combo card but I can't find intel.

The only wireless G/Bluetooth combo I could find is this. It's an MSI brand, so I don't know if it's as reliable as the Intel wireless G I already have in my Dell 700m. Is there a mini pci/bluetooth combo from intel? Or is this as good as intel? Will I have to replace my current internal wireless with this one? Please help. I rather not go the dongle route but I will if I must.

you might be able to buy the same one you have in your dell from dell. they might sell a 'replacement' to you.

Intel doesn't make a combo. Most notebooks have a separate BT card, but MSI is the only one that I know which combines the two.

Some MSI users have had trouble with the MSI BT/WiFi card in their machines, not sure if it was due to the machine or the card. Go here and check out the MSI forum:

I know that if you are going to use that mini-PCI card with windows, then broadcom is superior as I heared from people who gave it a shot, and I think also that they have a bluetooth combo too. however I never saw a broadcom card being sold seperatly without a laptop so your best bet is Ebay.

wth ok well i know there is no bluetooth/wifi combo cards at this point and time! So recommending non existant technology to consumers is just a waste of time. My only solution is finding a good PCMCIA card that won't interfer that bad with the wireless g technology. Also, one that sits flush in the slot. If you have any recommendations or experience with this I'd appreciate it.

I think the new Dell 710M has built in Bluetooth and I've heard the the 700M and 710M is literally the same machine. You could call up Dell and see if you can get the internal Bluetooth card from Dell.
