Want a boot drive?

Write speeds are super anemic though. On the other hand, if it were possible to buy two for $85 (rebate tomfoolery), it could be an interesting in Raid 0 versus an 80GB X25-M as it would be a bit cheaper.

It's supposed to get trim according to Kingston.

Either way, SSD performance degradation is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

I'm totally in for at least two in a RAID-0 config. I have my Win 7 disc, but have been waiting to install because I want to jump on the SSD bandwagon first.

I'm in. It fits my buget and I want to jump on the SSD bandwagon. Tired of hearing my wife and kids complain about 3 minute Windows boot times.

In my opinion, Kingston has done an excellent job of focused marketing with this product. It's perfect for my situation. I plan on spending a little more and getting the "Desktop" bundle with the cables, 2.5-to-3.5 bracket, and Acronis True Image software.....all for an extra $15. I think that's a deal.

Anyone know if NewEgg will accept pre-orders for this? Or do we have to wait until 11/09 to order?
