My dad is thinking about getting a HP dv6000t laptop, but is worried he won't be able to connect it to his 2407fpw through a dvi connection, thus making it blurry. Is there any work around for this? If not, are there any similarly sized laptops that will? Macbook Pro is out of our price range unfortunately.

Thanks!

You can purchase a port replicator for most laptops that will have a DVI port.

Actually, if he was interested in a mac, the regular macbook should be able to drive the 2407 via DVI as long as you have the mini DVI -> DVI connector (sold seperately). My roomate has a macbook, and I have a 2407, I'll have to see if he has the proper connector so I can try it out. My 2.5 year old AL powerbook drives my 2407 without any problems...

Edit: I should also mention that some thinkpad models have DVI on their port replicator. I know the T series does for sure, and I believe the Z series might also (and maybe more).
