There are lots of good deals on wireless routers. You can get a vanilla G router for $20 after rebates. I would not spend the extra money on the "speed booster" or ultra versions of G unless you are doing alot of files transfers on your LAN. I just upgraded my access point a from D-Link B, to a Netgear G for $30 (no rebate). If you have money buring a hole in your pocket you could go with one of the pre-N routers. Though I have read where N is having problems in committee.

6 months a the very least before .11n is ratified/certified, and that is very optimistic. Unless your wireless environment is very difficult and MIMO would help shotty coverage then just get yourself .11g gear.
