some kind of proprietary video output probably - most likely the product came with a break out cable to normal composite out/s-video out
it's defintely not s-video though

I beleive apple used to do the same thing on their machines, s-video with 7 pints, not sure if they do. Like the poster above me is saying, most of them do nothing.

yea apple used the samething on the powerbooks and probably others aswell

The Tibook I had would use s-video or came with an adapter for an RCA plug
