Beautiful People

Friend sent me this site called BeautifulPeople.net, and it's an online community (like Friendster and MySpace), but potential members are judged on looks before they are invited to join. You go through the normal process of registering, but you have to also upload a picture of yourself, and wait a few days for already existing members to judge how good you look. If they think you fit in with the "beautiful" people, you're invited to become a member.

I can at least say that hat website has a pretty shltty interface. I saw it on the news today. They are looking for people who are beautiful inside and out.

Edit- Dang, every beat me to saying their site looks like ass while I was trying to make it look decent in FireFox. 😛

no no, you guys are all bad, this isn't waht they are trying to portray in their website. Here, let me give you a feeling of it, here is some quotes from what I heard in the news today

reporter: "So dont you think it looks like a bunch of beautiful people just trying to show that they are something more than just looks."
beautiful member: "no no, i mean, I got in not just because of my looks, but my personality. I mean the picture I submitted showed me laughing, you can barely make out my face, but it shows that I was a fun person"
reporter: "ok, well there you have it folks, a club for beautiful people."

As of Tuesday the 2nd of August all applicants will be charged a non-refundable $10.00 for applying to BeautifulPeople Network. This fee will stand regardless of the rating outcome.

Wow, this is beyond silly. 🙂 The guy who made the site will probably make a ton of money of a bunch of vain kids with zero self confidence who want to fit in.
