which of the few would have the lowest potential maitenance cost and longevity?

Acura didn't even have an "RS" in 1993, and they still don't. The closest name is the RSX:

You mean '92 to early '95 (pre-Tacoma) Toyota ext. cab 4x4? If so, then that would be the one. Mine (my 2nd car) has 120k+ miles on it and has never seen one bit of unscheduled maintenance. Still drives like a brand new truck. If it's the 3.0L V6, make sure you get the free lifetime TSB head work done at a dealer (if it hasn't already).

edit2: GS-R = sporty, GS = sport-like, LS = semi-luxury, RS = base

Now what car are you really talking about?

I think both those Acuras he listed must be Integras... I think at different points in time there was an RS, GS, and LS, though I don't know the hierarchy went with those..

If I said I was looking at a Ford SE, would you have any clue what I was talking about?
