wang zhi zhi's career is over?

in this article about yao ming, this guy mentions that qang zhi zhi's career could be over. does he have some injury, or does he suck that bad? anyone know?

Apparently Chinese authorities want him back in China because he his relationship with them has become strained. This is exactly the reason why any team taking Yao Ming is taking a huge risk.

He has a commitment to the Chinese army. That and he wasn't that great - pretty much a benchwarmer for the Mavs. He could be something great in a few years when he develops more (like Nowitzki did)

Can't trust the commies. Seriously, if I were Yao Ming, the first thing I'd do once I arrived in the US is to start spewing off against communism and then defect, citing the fact that I'd be made a political prisoner if i ever returned to China. Then, rather than have the commies take half or more of my salary, I'd have it all and never have to worry about them again.

He's not a citizen - just an alien resident. He'd be pretty much screwed if the US decided to take away his residency

I agree. His offensive game was decent and had a pretty accurate shot. But he had no defensive game whatsoever.

no one on mavs have a defensive game whatsoever...
