WAN Settings

Greetings!

Just got a note from our provider that our Inet connection will be through PPPOE and so our public IPs will need to be configured on our router. How can we config our router to make our public IPs work.

Here are the details

WAN - PPPOE (username and password) was given to us
Frame IP - 122.54.129.x
Our public Ips - 122.54.128.x - 122.54.128.x (5 public IPs)
Gateway - 122.54.128.x

I think they configured their modem in bridge mode. Pls help. Thanks

Yes, but also lost on the configuration. Before the change of the setup by the provider, we have no problem, the modem ware configured as a pure modem, then connected to a switch, then from there we can use our public IPs

The couple of times I have been involved in configuring modem-routers into bridging and PPPoE with static addresses, we left DHCP on the WAN enabled and the address was assigned from the Telco. I would first attempt DHCP as it seems like a lot of techs don't know what they are talking about. I went through nine techs at century link before I got to one that could explain this to me. If it truly is static, you just plug in the useable address, subnet mask, and gateway address to the WAN port of your router. With PPPoE, you will need the username and password for the account as well to authenticate and if your router does not automatically set MTU to 1492 bytes, you must do so manually.

I had my Internet working by using the PPPoE on the router.
But after checking using whatismyipaddress.com - if give me my Frame IP - 122.54.129.x
So how can I now use my 5 Public Ips from 122.54.128.x
What settings do I need change on my router

If I put my frame IP in the IP address under PPPoE settings (static settings) I get internet connection
My concern now is how/where will I now configure in the router my public IPs
