Amen, brother!

Walter Mondale was a thoroughly decent human being, the living, breathing epitome of the old school American Liberal, exemplifying kindness and inclusiveness and genuine "family values" and that post war "can do" attitude that "we the people," through the representative institutions of our Federal government, could use its collective might to make things better for all Americans.

It may have just been a dream, but it was a damn good one.
 
We had Humphrey, Mondale, and Paul Wellstone. As well as advocating for liberal causes, they seemed to really care about people and try to help them.
