Walmart's version of 2L Coke Zero is now $0.96? That's the sale price of real Coke Zero at my supermarket before Covid

generic 2L coke zero at walmart was like .80 last year.

I havent been to my supermarket since b4 covid. back then it was 4 for $4.
nowadays, walmart and costco supplies me with my food needs.

talk about shock when generic soda is the same price as the real version when on sale

Solution: stop buying soda :D

I can personally vouch for the effectiveness of this technique! ;)

I drink the OCCASIONAL soda *(usually Foxon Park cream) when I get pizza and that's about it. Not sure I've bought soda of any type in the supermarket in a good 10-15 years.... that stuff is literally poison.

And if I had to pick the store with higher risk of being exposed to ANY infectious disease, most Walmart's were/are a disgusting petri-dish of bacteria and filth compared to my local Stop & Shop even if you completely dismiss the pandemic.

I've reverted to 100% avoiding the un-wiped bunghole of a store that is Walmart even if it is cheaper... and lately even THAT is not always the case!

Walmart is cheaper for certain things but not others where I am at. Definitely good for grass fed cheese, regular milk, organic milk, certain non-sale fruits.

But for other things, like certain chocolate, peanut butters, etc, look elsewhere.
