Has anyone successfully applied for and received this $150 rebate? I tried to do the form online but it rejected the model #. Although it doesn't say which notebook you have to buy, just a pavillion.

Hmmm... you could say that this subject is off topic (alot of people who want increase their post counts that is), or you could say that this is making a hot deal even hotter... I know it has been mentioned briefly in the laptop thread, but i'm sure a lot of people missed it. So go ahead and crucify me. I kind of expected it. But hopefully 1 kind person (out of the potential hundreds who'll tell me that this is off topic, or the "in before lock" people) will have the answer.

Tell me where I'm wrong, but I don't understand how anyone could interpret the rebate info to suggest you can get a $150 rebate solely by purchasing the notebook.

Section A1 doesn't apply.
Section A2 - purchase of "Any HP Pavilion Notebook PC" qualifies you for section B rebate(s).
Section B Rebates - "receive a $50 rebate for each purchase of the products listed below" (peripherals)
Section C - applies to montiors

Anyone interested in a Slightly used HP (Walmart) N5125
I would rather someone benefit here than place it on *bey.

I purchased it as a second computer and don't use it. I think in the last month, i've used it once.

I need a to buy a second desktop PC.

I upgraded (added) 128mb of Crucial memory (196mb total ram) added a linksys 10/100 PC card and a carrying case.

The laptop is PERFECT!!!

No dead pixels or anything.

If your interested, I will sell it for what I paid.

PM (if your interested and I'll give you the total(no profit) for everything.

Jesseche - If you search the For Sale/Trade forum for N5125 you'll notice that several HP N5125 laptops have been successfully sold. Out of curiosity how much did you pay to upgrade the 128MB RAM, Linksys 10/100 PC card and carrying case?
