Now if they quit selling drugs, the mom and pop Rexalls could live again. 🙂

who cares......www.knesekguns.com (the newegg of gun shops)

Never did care. I haven't shopped at Walmart for years, ever since they built one where I used to live, and when I went into it, I felt like I'd been dropped into a third world country. It's the melting pot of ferengi. 😉

my wife works @ walmart and our store is stopping the selling of guns. This is only because they can make more money selling something else in that floor space with less hassle than guns. Simply ANOTHER sound bussiness choice by the yellow smiley.

I bought a Savage 10FP from Walmart a couple of weeks ago. It took almost 1.5 hours for me to get out of the store with the gun. I filled out the background check form. I've done this several times in the past, so I knew what I was doing. The Walmart worker called in my information and I was approved. The problem was that she checked the denied box, so I had to fill out another form. Then I had to wait on two managers to show up and go over the form I filled out. I'm sure Walmart has paid out more in fines to the ATF for screwed up paperwork than it has ever made selling guns.

It was a very painful experience, and I'll never buy another gun from Walmart. I normally order guns from online stores and pick them up at the FFL dealer just down the street. It takes my real dealer 10 minutes to do what it took Walmart 1.5 hours to do.

This news makes me want to bust a cap in someones as$! :|

First thing Monday morning Im going to short some gun stocks in protest!

I have no problem with walmart stopping their sales of guns. I'm sure that they weren't making a whole lot off of them anyways. I've only bought a 10/22 from them, it was cheaper there than any gun store could match. My buddy bought a ruger M77 300 win mag there, also cheaper than could be bought anywhere else. I just hope they continue the sell of ammo.
