A while back, I ordered a bundle with New Super Mario Bros. Wii and a Wii Remote.

I waited about 2 hours for the fucker to even ask me what I was waiting for. When 20 minutes passed, I decided I wasn't going to say anything. I wanted to wait it out just to see how long it would take.

This was *after* I had waited at least 30 minutes for an employee to even appear back there. He started looking at some grill assembly instructions and talking to someone on the phone. A woman stepped out multiple times and never offered any assistance nor asked why I was there.

Un-fucking-believable.

Why did you not just order from Amazon and have it to your house in 2 or 3 days? Did WalMart have a much better deal?

that's the thing, i logged in and noticed tracking said that it was signed and delivered at the store. it doesn't actually tell you what store. so it sat in the wrong store for weeks. every CSR kept saying wait for the email notification....which never came because they never processed the item at the store

You're not good at the economy, are you?

Shouldn't you be saving your money instead of wasting it?

why do you insist on bringing this up? this is irrelevant to the topic at hand. i'm not taking any of it with me to the grave. i spend and live as if its my last day on earth. i am happy. but it appears if i pay my bills, it would make all of you happy? sheesh, give it a rest folks.

I've only used their site to store once and the item actually arrived a couple days earlier than it estimated so I was pretty happy with that.

If you think it's irrelevant, then that explains your money troubles :)

I think the problem started with you waiting 2 hours to be acknowledged. The words "excuse me!" work wonders!

Meh, one user's experience in one location. I would be willing to bet not all are like that.

Granted, Walmart doesn't pay for the best and brightest employees, so not exactly shocking either.

two people at my old office used it for two different stores...it was a train wreck. One they couldn't find it for two weeks, the other it took 3 hours to locate and process.

I don't think they have communication set up properly.

Ordered an exclusive Blu-ray about a month ago (WalMart has had a lot of these lately, but my store rarely gets them in), and just paid the $1.97 to have it shipped to my house. I've read too many "horror" stories with their site-to-store option. Plus it wasn't worth $2 to have to drive/go into my local WalMart.

I can only agree with you. The system is nothing but crap. I've not had that kind of experience with it, but still have bitter feelings.

By the time you walk all the way through the store to get an item, have them page someone (since no one typically mans the site to store terminal) and pick up the item, it takes about 10-15 minutes not counting the parking, etc. I've used it to save money on shipping before, but it certainly takes patience.
