Walmart sells 'Alcohol/Tobacco/Firearms/Lottery' Prohibited Gift Cards

I can clearly see the market. I had 12 year olds selling dugs after school because there was no food in the house. What was their parents doing with the benefits cards?
 
Always makes me laugh - same goes with Food Stamps....

OH NOEZ! I have to allocate what I would have spent on the food and instead defer that to the booze. Therefore, it doesn't support those things! AHA! We R soooo smart.
 
I don't get the outrage. Here in MA, I don't believe (at least, for Tobacco, Alcohol, and Lottery, not sure about Firearms) that you are legally allowed to pay for those with gift cards. I know that Lottery is cash (physical cash, not even Debit cards) ONLY, and probably so with Alcohol and Tobacco too (because of the Tax on them, having to be paid by cash). Firearms, no idea.
 
Actually what I'd like to see is stores that sell gift cards that are only for food, would be good for giving out to homeless people and basically make sure they are not buying booze with it.

My favourite is when they hang out by the LCBO and ask for money for food. Way to make it obvious lol.

That just means they have to sell the card at 50¢ to the $ to get liquor. The addicted have a scheme to get around just about everything. If they put the same effort into simply working, they wouldn't have as many issues.
 
I hope that they also have a restricted version that lets you only buy beer and guns... maybe they should brand it the "'MERICA!" version, and add some camo colors to the card! 🙂
