The retail company said Tuesday that it's removing the women's magazine from checkout lines.
The National Center on Sexual Exploitation said Walmart made the decision following conversations with the anti-pornography organization

(National Center on Sexual Exploitation used to be called Morality in Media).

um.. what?!
Cosmo is a woman's magazine catering to women.

it's not a men's magazine catering to misogyny men.
ie: if she's not good in bed and refuses to learn, find someone else

More likely people just don't buy magazines anymore so you might as well try and get some good press out of the deal.

They didn't stop selling Cosmopolitan, they just removed it from the checkout aisle. It's still in the magazine section.

So Cosmo is porn now? Who new.
Half the time when I see it in a grocery store checkout lane, it's behind a modesty-plate. Walmart probably gets more Betty Bowers type complaints than most companies, given their distribution/marketshare.
