Walmart has removed a controversial T-shirt with a simple message — "Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED" — from its website, after the Radio Television Digital News Association sent the largest retailer in the U.S. a note flagging the shirt's message.

Wow, threatening the 1st amendment is MAGA.

Ya know, this mentality is what swept through Germany in the 1930s.

Any more crap like this and I may just have to leave the country. I'm serious--if I don't see people coming to their senses by the end of 2018, I'm emigrating.

If you can learn a new language, the world is your oyster. Switzerland seems nice.

If you didn't read the article, note that the shirt was sold by an affiliate, not Walmart itself.

And look at the giddy stupid fucks, laughing at the front of the shirt, I am assuming. Hey, backwards hat chick, moore wants to know if you have a younger sister, and blue-shirt, a granddaughter.

I don't care, it's on Walmart's site, it's their responsibility. The shirt isn't cute in anyway, it's messed up and it pisses me off maybe more than it should.

My cousin lives in Geneva, and I've spent time in Zurich, Bern, Zug and Interlaken. Beautiful country, and I'd love to live there, but I don't need to go that far. I've got Canadian citizenship too.

That this t-shirt exists is not a surprise.
That its sold at Walmart is even less of a surprise.
Walmart dumping it immediately is the real shocker here.

Too late for Matt Lauer, Mark Halperin, Charlie Rose, Glenn Thrush, Lockhart Steele, Stephen Blackwell, Michael Oreskes, Roger LaMay, Jann Wenner, Roger Ailes, Garrison Keillor or Bill O'Reilly. Hell you don't even need a tree, all you need is a ______.

No idea what that is even supposed to mean. I do like how you simultaneously get all outraged at anyone associating you with fascism, even as you consistently and repeatedly defend every aspect of that philosophy, whenever it comes up. First you pointedly have no objection to Trump endorsing a far-right BNP-splinter group, now you have no problem with a message like that on the t-shirt and prefer to try and divert to...something a bit obscure but probably irrelevant.

Would you call it the age of enlightenment if the t-shirt had the following quote

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"
Do you really believe Shakespeare was calling for all lawyers to be killed?
