i can shop all day, add it to my cart, but cannot check out

it worked from 4am to 4:40 am CST , then it was out except for very short periods until after 7 am
i got my cart checked out/confirmation number and went to sleep after that

What the hell are you guys ordering from Walmart that is making it such a priority? Is there a deal Im unaware of? I just checked out their website and nothing great stood out except a 32inch HDTV.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The Web site for Wal-Mart, the world's No. 1 retailer, was periodically unavailable on one of the busiest shopping days of the year "due to a higher than anticipated traffic surge," a Wal-Mart representative said Friday.

At approximately 6 a.m. ET on Black Friday, Wal-Mart (Charts) online shoppers received a message that read "Walmart.com is temporarily unavailable while we make important upgrades to our site."
