Walmart.com Henckels Twin Pro S knife sets

Wow those are great prices. I'm not a huge fan of Henckels but these sets are very good intermediate knife sets. I never thought they were worth it for $400-500 but at these prices, it's awesome.

Oh hmm.... this is odd. The Walmart sets are a bit different then what other retailers are getting. The 8 piece is missing the santoku, it's in the 10 piece. Other retailers like macy's have a 9 piece with the santoku. All I really want is the chef, santoku, paring knives...

Yea, I agree. I don't use a chef's knife much at all after I tried a santoku. It's a bit shorter, so I do use the 10" chef's knife I have when I need extra length for carving, etc. The perfect set for me would be a couple 4" paring knives, a 6" carving knife, a 8-10" carving knife, serated knife for bread, and a 7" santoku. Throw in a set of steak knives, and I'm set.
