Think I would pass. Consumer Reports doesn't give it high marks.
Unfortunately typical CR teaser "review"-you have to be a paid member to see the actual review. Unfortunately my library dropped CR online because of it's high cost.

Tom's reviewed 50 inch
Agreed. Personally I've only ever bought low-end TVs so I feel there is some market for them. But onn is pretty crappy and I think you just want something "better" for a 65-inch panel. For example, some of the affordable Hisense TVs have solid ratings.

If it's a 43 or 50 inch unit in the guest bedroom, then dirt cheap is fine. I realize 65 inch is mid-range in size nowadays but I still consider it large.

I have tried a few budget large panels and always end up taking them back. They just dont have the picture quality.

That being said. If its not a daily viewing TV or a kids gaming TV or spare room TV. It should suffice.

I have a 40" ONN I got for a spare Bedroom. It works. It looks just ok. It might weigh 2 pounds. It is ridiculously light. Apps work etc. $100 with tax. No complaints.
