I saw these, somehow, during my searching on walmart.com for my local store. Found some earbuds, showing up as only $1! Though it was a deal, so I went through with a store pick-up, got a bunch of them.

A friend of mine that I showed the deal to, his store is showing $4.88 for them. So YMMV.

I included the Brickseek link for searching local inventory, DO NOT mention brickseek when looking for this deal. It's a hot-dealer's secret resource.

Edit: I've been using the "Teal" model, to listen to music on my cell, and skype on my PC, and they work alright. Cord is a little too short to reach to PC under the desk comfortably. Not super-loud, but maybe that's a feature (liability and all).

Click on the Walmart link, there are five colors to choose from. They all may have different prices, though.

I bought two pairs of these a while ago when I broke my last pair. I do alot of runnng and outside work while listening to podcasts. These both broke in two weeks as the wire came loose from the right earbud. Yes u get what you pay for with walmart earbuds.

Well, the pair I have been using is still working after two days, although it seems that the bass is less. Maybe I've damaged my hearing already, using them. I've never used earbuds before.

Thanks @Lanyap !

It should be noted here too, that some lines of modern phones are doing away with the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, and moving to BT-only headphones / earbuds. Something to consider, if your current phone has a headphone jack, but you're looking to upgrade.
