Front. Much harder for it to get stolen and you're not sitting on it.

Anyone who puts it in there back pocket can easily get pickpocketed by an ametuer. Plus if you sit in bucket seats in a sports car you will know you do not want anything in your back pockets to sit on.

Front right for security reason... having it the back pocket is asking to be picked.

Front right. Used to have it in the back, but 1) hurt to sit on 2) was worried about theft and 3) actually had it fall out once while getting up to leave class. Fortunately there are still some honest people in this world =)

Seriously.

I have carried my wallet in my back right pocket as long as I have carried one and I have never had a problem.

There are only two times that this is not the case: Vegas and poker games.

In Vegas, cash goes in my front pocket. The wallet stays in my back-right pocket. I only do this because I am generally carrying $2-3K with me.

At poker games around town, cash goes in my front pocket and the wallet stays in the car.

If wearing a jacket - front left inside jacket pocket
If not wearing a jacket - back right pants pocket

Putting it in my front pants pocket creates an unsightly bulge, and one unsightly bulge in my pants is enough.

This is true. If I go into the city it's a different story, but around here it's not common.

I don't have a wallet. I've heard countless friends tell me horror stories of them losing their wallets and everything in it.

I keep stuff in my pockets. I might end up losing one or two things from a pocket, but I'll never lose everything from all my pockets like you would with a wallet.

Pockets FTW!
