Walking Dead Season 2

Weird, I've never seen anyone here post about a single issue with the game. /shrug

I've seen some graphical ones. But no game breaking bugs.

A rather humorous one was

Just when Duck is about to die and your investigating the train, Kat (i think that was her name) is supposed to be cradling him in her arms, but for some reason it glitched out and he dissappeared, so she had her arms wrapped around empty space. Kinda ruined the moment when I was talking to her.

I got the same bug, apparently it was somewhat common. You're exactly right that it was humorous but somewhat killed the mood.

I had a bug in the first episode right at the beginning where shadows were causing the game to go out of sync and lag like hell. Other than that no major issues at all.

One of the best games I have ever played. Glad they are continuing with the Clementine story line.

Goot get 400 days and play that first!

TellTale Games.. Take a look at their forums to see what I am talking about. Save games getting corrupted and not being recoverable, others not getting their choices continued over to the next episode. Worst part is that TTG did NOTHING to resolve any of the issues or even address the problems.

I got hit with the save game bug after episode 3, which caused me to have to start over and subsequently realize nothing you do in the game actually matters. I had a hard time enjoying the experience after that.

You have to be thinking of the wrong Walking Dead game?

Nah, I had a few issues. Most of them seem to stem from poor Windows 8 support. No Xbox controller support in Win 8, and I lost my saved games as well.

From looking at the Steam page for Season 2 it looks like they still recommend Win 7, so I'm not hoping for any additional support.

Other then that, great game. I'll still buy it and play with mouse/keyboard.

Well I finally came around to start playing this games, just bought the Walking Dead Pack on GamersGate for 7 Euros a steal considering the 1st game alone is around 6 euros on steam.

I have not had any issues that I recall from S1 and 400 days. Will get this when it's heavily discounted though. I'm in no rush.

Same here. I enjoyed playing it, but I did it all at once (not including 400 days though), and got burned out toward the end. It annoyed me to no end having to do everything while everyone else sat around, which is to be expected I guess in these type of games, but still. Plus its pretty dark. After episode 3, I stopped caring what my choices were, because in the long run everyone seemed to die any damn way.

I'll eventually get season 2, hopefully during a steam sale.

That was my feeling for episode 3. However later on the choices you make will actually matter for the characters and affect who helps you in the final chapter or not.

Meh, I don't think it matters who helps you or not in the end because

You die. Ken dies. Ben dies. The stranger dies (though that one caught me off guard, I totally didn't expect it to be the guy we stole the supplies from). The boat still gets stolen. Clem lives. The other two also. There is nothing you can do AFAIK to change the outcome.

Maybe the descions you make might have some bearing upon Clem later in season 2, but by the end of season 1, most of the choices I made didn't matter much, (other than to hear Kenny constantly point out how I was totally not his friend because I didn't try and save his son that one time back at Herschels farm. Never mind the fact that I saved his dumbass a ton of other times.)

I'm not knocking the game, I thought it was alot of fun and would definetly recommend it. The whole choice thing was a bit overblown though.

Season 2 Episode 2 appears to have been released today.

Anyone else playing this? I thought episode 1 was excellent, albeit a little shorter than I had hoped.
