Another is leaving to "be with his Family" that line is getting tired

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/04/poli...unning-reelection-texas-republican/index.html

in a statement, Flores said that he will retire to spend more of his time with his family and planned to return to the private sector, where he had previously worked as an oil and gas executive. He said he would focus on a number of issues in his remaining time in Congress, including securing the border, removing "the uncertainty related to the 'Dreamers,'" helping pass the United States, Mexico, Canada Agreement and paving the way for "the accelerated deployment of 5G technologies."

So happy Russian Trolls came up with this #walkaway stuff, now we have a phase to call it. Thanks Putin!

It's pretty much the Trumpublican Party now. Sad.

The upshot is that these 'retirements' (read: "screw Trump, I'm out") put offices into contention where people might have voted for the incumbent Republican on autopilot. Not to say those districts will necessarily vote Democrat, but the Dems face better odds against fresh-faced opponents.

It’s not that though. There’s a difference.

Trump is the most Republican of Republican politicians in history.

The Republican Party built this.

Funny how he wasn’t a Republican nor one of his Sons until immediately before he ran for President
