Waking Life

I heard it was good, but I watched the first 15 minutes and gave up. I didn't want to hear 1,000 people talk about how they believe life should be led with no semblance of a storyline. Maybe you have to be in a certain mood to watch it. I certainly wasn't in that mood. It was very pretty from what I saw of it.

i SHOULD have really liked that movie but i just thought it was kind of dull. however, the movie did teach me to pay better attention to whether or not i'm dreaming so that i can get a little lucid dreaming going on now and again.

i was sober when i watched it. i thought some moments dragged and its all sorts of things id heard before. but i liked the "story" that propelled it. it really did feel the way it was described. i think there was an amazing moment when one of the characters toward the end said something like "you dont have to communicate verbally to communicate with something" and it seemed like i was interacting with the ideal of the film in that sense. i understand what people are saying about drugs and i think you could falsely make that movie AMAZING while stoned. but while sober, it was a truly well-thought out movie.
i really enjoyed the bit about philip k. dick too.
