2 in the afternoon should be ample time to sleep off your hangovers.

Anyways, my sister said she heard a version of New Order's "Confusion"(according to her friend, that was the title) at a club the other night, however every version I've found isn't the right one. Is there a specific version(dance/club most probably) in rotation right now that goes by a different title?

Yes, but I've got that version from the soundtrack and it's not the right one.
The original was one of those cheesy 80s songs, so I'm guessing this "new" one she heard has lyrics and is a club mix. Not really like the versions that sound electronic.

If she heard it at a club, I'm betting the DJ just made a mix himself. At clubs and raves with DJs, they spin and mix stuff up so if you heard a "unique" version of a song, chances are it's just that. Unique and you're not gonna find an MP3 of it.

Dang, I never even thought to ask her about that! Not sure if he was mixing live, or just playing material. Good point. Many thanks man, I think you may have just gotten me off the hook of trying to find this song! :)

No problem. You have no idea how many good mixes I've heard at raves that the rest of the world will never hear...hehehe...sucks but it's not like the DJ's gonna record an MP3 for us.

Pfffttt a club dj isn't going to mix his own variations of songs. A rave dj, perhaps, but odds are this is just a typical club. Keep looking. I bet you'll find it. Better yet, go to the club yourself tonight and ask the dj yourself. :)

Here are the variants to the original:

Confusion (Landyl's Massively Confused Trance Remix)
Confusion (Pump Panel Remix)
Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix)
Confusion (DJ Spud Mix)
Confusion (DJ Liquid Mix)
Confusion (Trip I Ambient Mix)
Confusion (Beatmasters Exclusive Remix)

Maybe one of these tracks are what you are looking for.

Good luck. :)
