Wake up system

Is there a setting somewhere so I can wake up my system from a USB keyboard? With my old PS2 keyboard, I just pressed the space bar and it woke up. I switched keyboards to a USB, and the only way to wake it up, is by pressing the poweer button.

There is a Mr. Coffee with a USB Keyboard? Oh... sorry

I think it would be Wake On Insert if it was supported. Not sure I remember seeing it in ACPI anywhere though. A recent MOBO BIOS update might add such a feature in Power Mgmt.

On my MB (epox 9npa+), there's a jumper on the motherboard which supplies 5V to USB devices while the computer is asleep so that USB devices can wake the computer up. Perhaps there is the same thing on your board.

Yup. just like everybody said, u need to enable support for "wake up on usb device". and of course u already have usb keu\yboard support in bios so it should be no prob. bestof luck.
