Is there anyway to boot my machine or have it come out of sleep mode at a certain time of day? (i.e. 6:30AM my computer comes on) I don't know if computers do that or not. I know there is wake-up on lan option, but that requires something to wake it up or something? Could I have a website contact my computer and say, "Time to wake up..?"

I could make money doing that website ;)

Shaking my mouse doesn't work. I have to click.

I want it to do it on its own.

Set your system BIOS to turn the computer on a X time everyday. Or isn't there something you can set in the Windows Scheduled Tasks if it is in a sleep/standby mode?

I was going to be a complete dick, but I think I'll wait for a few more replies.

How about you just set a alarm and clean your sheets before going to bed tonight.

Ok, checked my BIOS and it has an option called wake up on RTC [words here]

I enabled it and then I saw these options for the day... 1-31 and Everyday. I chose everyday

then set the hour, minute, and second to 6, 30, 0
Hopefully it works tomorrow! I am using the right option?

Or you could just set it for two minutes from now and avoid the overbearing suspense.

1. Get The Clapper
2. Get an alarm clock that makes a sound that activates The Clapper
3. Plug computer into The Clapper
