wake on lan

how do i set up wake on lan? rig in sig....

i want to turn on my comp without getting out of bed....

I do not know if WOL is the way to do it (unless you go to bed with your Laptop).

yeah...my laptop charges on the table near my bed, comp is 15 feet away, i'm lazy.

Get an X10 appliance module, remote control, and wireless transceiver. X10.com for all their evils occasionally has great deals, you should be able to pick this all up for ca $25 if you get the right deal ($6 for a Firecracker kit, then an appliance module). Lowes and Radio Shack carry X10 stuff if you don't want to wait, but not as good a pricing.
