Waiting Months for Reply ~~ Problem resolved. SilkTurtle, YGM.

I lost my password in March and emailed moderator@anandtech.com about it. Never got a reply. Tried emailing a 2nd time and still never got a reply. So finally I opened a new account. I used to be SilkTurtle. My email address changed in May - email for SilkTurtle will not work now.

How can I get back to using my old account???

Why not just use the Forgot your password option under login? You can't expect a moderator to run to the rescue of every user who forgot their password or lost their E-mail account. We're at nearly 100,000 users here, they do their best, but can't solve them all.

Next time that happens, use the forgot password feature. However, that won't work for you now since (from what I understand) your old e-mail address is now defunct.

The best that you can hope for is for a mod to see this thread and fix things for you.

I seem to recall that when I used the "forgot password" link it went to a page that said to email moderator@anandtech.com with the request.

That's odd, it shouldn't have. It should simply have e-mailed you your password.
