Wait? or not to wait?!

ok man, right around the corner comes pci express. from what everyone is saying this is going to be mainstream fast. so...should i wait to see if there is a major price drop in agp cards and mobos? cause everyone would want to get rid of them right? but if not...just a waste of time....

AGP will be around for a while longer. From what I have read ATI's first line of PCI-E cards will be based on the older chips and the newwer chip boards will still be AGP.

Also PCI-E offer nothing over AGP 4/8 right now.

Agreed, although I haven't heard anthing about ATI introducing older chipsets in PCI-E and not their newest chipsets. Why in the the world would they do that?

I heard they are releasing the r420 in pci-e and agp...I say wait and see what happens with prices/performance in the next few months and then make a decision. Thats what I'm gonna do at least cause I too am waiting to upgrade my video card.
