I play badminton a few times a week, pretty competitively. I'm not on a team or anything but i get a good workout. I've recently wanted to start lifting. My brother who's been lifting a while had me to a quick set of compound lifts and a few isolations. I'm sore as fsck. How long do i have to wait until i can go again? i realize that resting is very important to gaining. . . when can i pump again?

About two days but you can do cardio until then. It'll speed up the healing process by increasing blood flow to your muscles.

I agree. Don't just sit around, move around. You'll probably still be sore after 2 days but you're good to go. Just make sure you're sore and not injured.

If you were benching 150, you could do a quick workout with 50 pounds. that always got rid of soreness for me.
