I see what you are saying about the chipset and I have thought about it. Can we determine though from just this one sample that all the others are going to be underperforming as well? I mean what if DFI just didnt get it right? I know that seems unlikely given their past reputation of mobos but I'd feel more at ease saying the 590 is good/bad after seeing more proof than from just one sample. Gary said they had some more mobos on the way for testing. I'd like to see those results first to confirm if the chipset itself is better/worse/same as the 570s.

I'm in a sort of dilemma here too... Building a new system with the E6600, OCZ Special ops edition 2x1024 PC2-6400 chips and a Club3D 7950GX2 card.
I've more or less settled on 3 cards for the time being, those being:

Asus P5B Deluxe (Intel LGA775)
Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe (nForce 4)
Asus P5N32-SLI Premium (nForce 590)

Right now, I'd be going for the P5N32 SLI Deluxe, if it hadn't been for all the reports of people having trouble with this board and OCZ modules. (Feel free to suggest other modules, nothing is set in stone)
The reason I'm hesitating on the P5B Deluxe though is the fact that it's not running on a nForce chipset... not sure if that matters, but I've been getting alot of advice to go with nForce, also because I'm running the 7950GX2.
And when it comes to the P5N32 SLI Premium, I'd get that in the blink of an eye, I just don't want to wait anymore to build my system :)

Oh btw, I'm going to run my system at stock speeds, so overclocking capabilites will not really matter that much to me...
So if anyone has any advice on which board to get out of the first two, don't hesitate to answer :)

Not overclocking? Well I would wait for the 590 boards if I were you. Keep your expandability (SLI) options open.

Well yeah, I'd wait, but then I'm thinking no one really knows when these boards will be out, and also that the nForce 590 boards might have problems too in the beginning with compability and whatnot, so why not go for the P5N32 Deluxe which will probably have a Bios revision where the problems have been taken care of... I mean, the P5N32 Deluxe boards issues with OCZ chips is the only thing holding me back, so right now I'm thinking about going for another set of modules... any thoughts?

If you want to save a $100 then the DS3 is good too. It kinda depends on what you are trying to do. The DS3 isnt as feature rich and its overclocking potential lies in the E6300 & E6400 whereas the P5W DH has more features and its overclocking potential is better with the E6600, 6700, 6800, etc., The p5W DH biggest drawback is its price. Demand is outstripping supply still and alot of online vendors are raising the prices more often than lowering them to its suggested retail price. Quite frankly there is some price gouging going on with this mobo and its not with little unknown companies. NE and ZZF are guilty of overcharging too. Anyway the four main mobos that seem to be getting the most Conroe attention right now is the P5W DH, DS3, P5B, and the BadAxe. Not necessarily in that order though. any of these four mobos will work depending on what chip you choose and what it is you are trying to do with it.

Eh, I'm giving up on the wait. Going with a P5B Deluxe Wifi for my E6400.

Spyder, there's a couple versions of the P5N. The P5N32-SLI SE and P5N32-SLI Deluxe are nForce 4 based chipsets. The new Premium model is based off the new 590 chipset.

Except the P5N32-SLI Premium is AMD Socket 939. Not Conroe.

What the heck are you talking about?
