Well, not one part of borderlands felt fun to me. I held this opinion since I played it. I got BL1 for $5 and if I knew how it would be then, I would rather have my $5

Liked um both, but just cannot fathom FPS on consoles, stems back from HALO PC and HALO console.. one was fun and one was ridiculous simple with the auto aim. Now Football, sports games, even racing (if you don't have a wheel).. awesome.. but not here to stir up that old argument.. Borderland can get a bit grindy at times.. but I guess when you consider all FPS are just shoot, and shoot more, at least its got a silly story and varied locations. I liked handsome jacks remarks.. and the over the top beer commercial play style. Its a play for an hour and come back to later game.

But as some have stated.. the first play through is the least fun, and solo is even less fun. the game shines as co-op and when it gets hard later.

I really never felt that Borderlands was grindy. Like you said, it's not a hard game, and if you're a bit of a completionist, you outlevel everything easily, which is admittedly disappointing. I'm one who does not care to replay campaigns either, so the "it's better the second time" argument doesn't help me.

no borderlands is definitely grindy and a challenge

you are either saying that to look like uber hardcore gamer guy or you never played much of playthrough 2.5 in bl1 or uvhm in bl2

Again, I don't like replaying campaigns. I get bored when I already know the story. So, no, I didn't play the multiple playthroughs on Borderlands, because I felt no compelling reason to do so.
