Wait for DX10?

I just sold my 1800xt and am wondering if its worth waiting for some budget DX10 cards? I sorta hate to buy another DX9 card right now but I don't think $400+ is worth it for a 8800 series card.
 
If you can 'not' play games for 2 months and have a backup card to run your setup, sure. Cheaper parts are coming pretty soon. There is rumor of a $300 320MB 8800GTS (the price being the rumor, not the card itself). ~2 months is when the 8600/8300 series come out IIRC. Then there is that news report of nV ordering a bunch of 80nm parts.

ATi's DX10 parts come in March but I'm guessing it will be another 2 months for their budget/mainstream parts.
